Obituary of Michaela Wolf

It is with deep regret that the Union has learned of the passing of Michaela Wolf, the long time President of the Austrian Leonberger Club. Michaela was a true friend and staunch supporter of the Union. She will be sorely missed. The Union offers condolences to Michaela's family.

In dankbarer Erinnerung geben wir Nachricht vom Ableben unserer Präsidentin, Frau Michaela Wolf.
Mehr als 20 Jahre vertrat sie den Österreichischen Club für Leonberger Hunde als Obfrau auf dem nationalen und internationalen Parkett.
Neben ihrer Liebe zur Rasse zeichnete sie vor allem der wertschätzende Umgang mit „dem anderen Ende der Leine“ aus.
Mit ihr verlieren wir eine Freundin und Botschafterin des Hundes von Leonberg, eine außergewöhnliche Persönlichkeit die unser Vereinsleben unendlich bereichert hat.
Ihrem Engagement und ihrer Leidenschaft treu bleibend, sind wir ihrem Andenken und dem gemeinsamen Weg verpflichtend verbunden.
Wir werden sie nicht vergessen!

In grateful remembrance, we are reporting the passing of our President, Ms. Michaela Wolf.
For more than 20 years she represented the Austrian Club for Leonberger dogs as chairwoman on the national and international stage.
In addition to her love for the breed, her appreciative handling of "the other end of the leash" distinguished her. With her we lose a friend and ambassador of the Leonberg dog, an extraordinary personality who enriched our club life infinitely.
Remaining true to her commitment and passion, we are committed to her memory and the common path.
We will not forget her!
